The Arc of our Initiatives
The Arc of our Initiatives
Recognising the need for an intervention to prevent the loss of invaluable cultural practices, the Dakshina Dvaraka Foundation was created in 2015 as a platform for knowledge, it’s remembrance and preservation. Since then, we have grown in our ability to engage with the communities, crafts, and ecosystems of the country. What began as events and workshops grew into archiving and documentation work, before arriving at our current mode of work: cultural memory revival through field work and active intervention.
